I’d like to introduce you to Jack Perrin, artist extraordinaire. First, he created the performance piece above, imitating my “Mmmmm Grapes!” pastel painting. Then he drew the remarkable, “When I Grow Up I Want to Be an Artist.” Jack depicts himself in the center of the page and the only bit of color is his easel, illustrating a sophistication quite remarkable for his tender age. He was influenced by Buffet, Duchamps and Dubuffet. He did not study art at The New School, rather, he was home-trained and will attend Public School. His is Visionary Art at it’s best. Jack, we all eagerly look forward to your next series.
